Constitutional Law

Individual applications to the Constitutional Court for alleged violations of fundamental rights and freedoms.

The Constitution not only sets out how the State is organised and operates; it also guarantees the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals. Where those rights are alleged to have been violated by public authority, an individual application may be lodged with the Constitutional Court once ordinary remedies have been exhausted.

We carefully assess the admissibility requirements and time limits for an individual application and prepare the application in line with the Court’s case law.
